In 2015, The Old Fort Banking Company became employee-owned, as our Employee Stock Ownership and 401(k) Plan (ESOP) acquired 45% of the common stock of its holding company, Gillmor Financial Services. In 2021, this ownership increased to 64%, resulting in a majority-controlling interest for the ESOP. With this effort, we are proud to be one of the few majority ESOP-owned banks in the country.
